How It Works
- The game, "The Ingenious Mr. Thronbacker," is a mystery themed adventure that runs in the background of your workday, but not interfering with normal work. It can be used by itself or as a build up to a company meeting or event.
- All you do is email us a list of your participants, grouped into teams.
- One person serves as "Game Administrator" and helps us judge the action. They are scripted into the game but don't compete like everyone else.
- We send out hilarious emails to each team from their "Headquarters" detailing how someone in your office has been leading a double life.
- Teams compete over the course of a week to solve the mystery and win the game. You must strategize, communicate, and come together as a team to win.
- "Missions" generally only take around 5 minutes a day to complete, so this doesn't interfere with the normal workday.
- The plot involves twists, turns, clues, and tons of humor. There are practical jokes, hidden clues, riddles, Name That Tune, free food, talent competitions, and contests of all kinds.
- During Setup, we will go over your goals and make sure we select appropriate missions customized for your group. We can even include sales contests, training goals, and custom company themes. Missions are only limited by our imaginations!
- At the end of the week everything is wrapped up and you can hand out prizes and celebrate your accomplishment. Or, if you have a company meeting or event, we provide you with an alternate ending with activities for an event lasting from 1 hour or up to half a day. It's a great way to let off some steam and get everyone having a good time.
- The game boosts morale, increases communication, reduces turnover, and it's a great chance to hand out prizes and do some fantastic staff appreciation,
- Cost: Two Options: First Option: Play our normal adventure and have fun all week for just $25/person. This includes the optional alternative ending with the event, so it's a fantastic deal! Second Option: We're a socially responsible company and we want you to be too! If your company wants to include a mission one day that benefits a charity, we'll let you play for FREE! The mission takes only 10 minutes during one of the days. The idea is that in order to get the next clue, each team competes to find pledges for Autism Services, our charitable partner.
